I had to read this book for a North Carolina History class I took at UNC-Pembroke. I read it before the movie came out, and I loved it! |
This was a book I had to read for an Elementary Reading class at UNCP. I thought I would go ahead and read it and get it out of the way. (I didn't think I would like it) Boy, was I wrong! I read the book in a day and a half! |
I enjoyed the first book so much, that I quickly caught up on the books released to that point (book 5). This past summer, I read the most recent book. I look forward to the next and (?)final book. |

Three best friends with the same birthday get together to discuss "what might have been". I read this book during a rainy week at the beach. I really liked it! |
I read an exerpt from this story in a magazine and I thought it would be really good. It was good, it seemed a little long, but it was a good story. |
My teacher assistant gave me this book to read during the summer 2005. I can't believe I had never read a Nicholas Sparks novel until then! It was wonderful. I think I'm hooked! |
I read this novel in a few days. It was heartbreaking, but I liked it just the same. |
This book is more of a romantic "thriller". There is an element of suspense in this book. I know I'm hooked now! |
This book is my all time favorite from Nicholas Sparks. I cried but I like books that end on a happy note. The plot ended like I wanted it to. |
This is a memoir of Sparks' life as well as the travels around the world with his brother. Very informative. He has had several emotionally overwhelming experiences to deal with. |
For me this book was slow to get into. Once I did however, I really liked it. It has a sequel coming out October of 2006. I have already preordered it. |
Heartbreaking!! I just cried and cried! This is a novel that, as a young married mother of 3, I feel the situation could have happened to me, or anyone for that matter. |
Really sad. I began wondering partway through, why I was reading a book so sad. It ends on a good note. I liked it, so I bought the sequel to it as well. |
This book is part 2 of The Christmas Shoes. Believe it or not, but I read this book in one night! It was worth the missed sleep! |
This is the first book by T. Lynn Ocean. The story is set in Charleston, SC. It has romantic interests, southern charm, witty characters, and mystery! |
Another great book by T. Lynn Ocean, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!! This one is about Jaxie Parker from Atlanta. Jaxie is sent to a small town in South Carolina to rehabilitate a failing town. This one has romance and mystery!

Dear John, hmm, a good book, but not really intense in my opinion. It was a good read, pulls at your heart strings some, oh who am I kidding, it was great as usual for Nicholas Sparks! I did feel like it wasn't as exciting as some of his others, but that's okay.
